On December 15, 2025 - the day the City Council voted on the City's Comprehensive Plan and major zoning changes - the City Council locked out over 40 people from the City Council Chambers instead of moving the meeting to a bigger room. It was a historic turning point for Port Townsend and showed the need for Accountable PT.
